About Us

Japan Polyethylene Corporation was established in September 2003 as the largest polyethylene manufacturer in Japan by succeeding the polyethylene business of Japan Polychem Corporation and Japan Polyolefin Co.

Inheriting the accomplishments of Japan Polychem and Japan Polyolefin, we are committed to provide stable supply of high-quality products through our nationwide production and sales network and develop products that meet the high needs of our customer by integrating the technologies of the two companies.

In all of these business activities, including production, sales, and R&D, we will further enhance our international competitiveness, develop as a company with a strong presence, and strive to provide better products and services to achieve even greater customer satisfaction.

We will also work diligently to solve resource, environment, and safety problems. While maintaining compliance as our company policy, we will powerfully process our business activities as a leading polyethylene company in Asia.

Business Overview

Japan Polyethylene is a company that manufactures and sells polyethylene, a synthetic resin. Polyethylene is produced through a polymerization reaction using ethylene, a basic chemical, as the main raw material. A wide variety of unique polyethylene can be produced by changing the mode of polymerization reaction (process), catalyst type used, and reaction conditions. Polyethylene is molded in various methods and is widely used through for our daily life such as food packages, detergent bottles, medicine containers, sanitary materials, distribution films, as well as industrial materials such as water and gas pipes, electric wire coatings, and automobile parts such as gasoline tanks. It is a material that is indispensable to our lives today.

Main Products

Polyethylene products that support our daily lives are used in a wide variety of applications, and the performance requirements vary widely. Japan Polyethylene offers a wide variety of polyethylene grades to meet your requirements, making the most of the catalyst, manufacturing, and resin design technologies we have cultivated over the years.
